This information graphic explores the 2003 North American Blackout, the largest in the region's history, which affected 50 million people. The project focuses on visualizing the complex relationships within the electrical power system and the chain of events that culminated in the blackout. By illustrating the micro-level incidents that led to the massive butterfly effect, the design provides a clear and engaging narrative of the event's timeline and interconnected causes.

The project involved researching and analyzing the intricate dynamics of the 2003 blackout, including its timeline and contributing factors. The design visualizes these elements, emphasizing how small incidents escalated to create a large-scale disaster. The focus was on clarity and storytelling through data visualization.
