This information graphic explores the 2003 North American Blackout, the largest in the region's history, which affected 50 million people. The project focuses on visualizing the complex relationships within the electrical power system and the chain of events that culminated in the blackout. By illustrating the micro-level incidents that led to the massive butterfly effect, the design provides a clear and engaging narrative of the event's timeline and interconnected causes.
