Book Design
Remembering the Cup with an Aubergine is a book design project responding to the question, “What is a precious object to me?” The book explores the process of remembering a childhood cup, which serves as a medium to reconnect with memories of the designer’s grandmother. Through visual storytelling and thoughtful design, the book captures the emotional and personal journey of recalling a cherished object.

The concept of the book reflects the act of "remembering" as a dynamic, layered process. Repetitive drawings, sheer materials, and the thoughtful use of typography convey the fragmented and evolving nature of memories. The sequence of pages mimics the rhythm of recalling, allowing readers to gradually connect with the emotions tied to the cup and its connection to the designer's grandmother. The design invites readers to emotionally synchronize with the experience, becoming more immersed with each page turn.
